Nestled in the picturesque Ribble Valley, Northcote stands as a beacon of culinary excellence and hospitality. Housed in a charming 19th-century manor in Langho, Lancashire, this luxury hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant has been delighting guests since 1983.

At the heart of Northcote is its elegant, Michelin-starred restaurant, led by Executive Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen. Renowned for her innovative approach to British cuisine, Lisa crafts exquisite dishes that celebrate the finest regional ingredients, delivering a dining experience that is both sophisticated and deeply connected to the local landscape.

We at Lytham Gin are honoured to collaborate with Northcote in creating the exclusive Obsession Gin. This bespoke spirit is meticulously crafted to complement the restaurant's exceptional culinary offerings, reflecting our shared commitment to quality and innovation.

Northcote's dedication to excellence extends beyond its cuisine. The establishment has a rich history of nurturing talent within the culinary industry. Notably, several chefs who have trained at Northcote have gone on to achieve significant acclaim, including appearances on prestigious platforms such as MasterChef: The Professionals and in 2024 two of the finalists including the overall winner were trained at Northcote

🌸 A Bittersweet Farewell to Blooming Gorgeous 🌸

As one of our very first creations, Blooming Gorgeous Gin has been with us since the beginning, holding a special place in the heart of Lytham Gin. Seeing so many of you fall in love with this floral favorite over the years has been a joy.

However, as a small distillery fueled by creativity and innovation, we’re always looking for ways to bring you exciting new products while staying true to our commitment to sustainability and reducing waste. As Blooming Gorgeous has natural flavours and is coloured with Rose and Hibiscus, if you're a big Blooming Gorgeous fan you may have noticed the colour fading over time, this means making large batches is unviable as the colour can fade before it is sold and as we are unwilling to use artificial colouring we've decided to make space for fresh ideas, Blooming Gorgeous will be discontinued.

But it’s not goodbye forever! We’re delighted to share that Blooming Gorgeous will return each year for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, featuring special edition labels to mark the occasions.
